A Network of Autonomy – Closing with Expert Panel & Workshop

March 31, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Bakery Atlanta and the Emory Center for Ethics is proud to present a group exhibition highlighting the expansive, and often overlooked, dimensions of reproductive justice. A Network of Autonomy highlights social and environmental justice along with caregiving, mutual aid, and the medical system aiming to ignite reflections on what we lose when reproductive care is viewed solely through the clinical lens.

Join us for a panel discussion and workshop in honor of the show’s closing on March 31st. Emory’s Center for Ethics will facilitate the conversation with artist Hiroko Kelly and special guests Kwajelyn Jackson, Executive Director at Feminist Women’s  Health Center (FWHC) in Atlanta, and Hilary Mabel, a Bioethicist/Healthcare Ethicist at the Center for Ethics and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory’s School of Medicine. Following the panel, Hiroko Kelly will be leading an origami workshop open to the public.

7pm to 8pm – Panel discussion
8:15 pm to 9:pm – Drop-In Origami Workshop with Hiroko Kelly
