Celebrate with Charis on Indies First/Small Business Saturday

Indies First is a holiday coinciding with Small Business Saturday which celebrates the special relationship between independent bookstores, authors, and readers. It’s a great day to kick off your holiday shopping, treat yourself after a busy family weekend, or just hang out with your fellow book lovers.
This year we are excited to host local authors for book signings throughout the day:
11:30 am to 12:30 pm: Reem Faruqi in celebration of The House Without Lights: A glowing celebration of joy, warmth, and home
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm: Breanna J. McDaniel in celebration of Go Forth and Tell: The Life of Augusta Baker, Librarian and Master Storyteller and Cute Toot
2:30 pm to 3:30 pm: Muriel Leung in celebration of How to Fall in Love in a Time of Unnameable Disaster: A Novel
4:00 pm to 5 pm: Nibs Stroupe in celebration of She Made a Way: Mother and Me in a Deep South World
