Constructing Dance: a play-filled celebration of the Art of Making Dances will take place January 22 through February 8, 2025. Curated, themed evenings from an open, all- inclusive call to the metro-Atlanta dance community will take place at Actor’s Express Theatre on the West Side. Initiated by Core Dance, this project is a partnership with DanceATL and Actor’s Express Theatre. In Core Dance’s current evolution, we choose to deepen our work as a leading center and laboratory for the creation, development, investigation and dissemination of dance and movement-based forms. In celebration, we offer Constructing Dance as a testament to our past and a lens on our future.
