Atlanta native bassist Michael Feinberg is one of the most prolific jazz artists of his generation. At 37 years old and with 10 albums under his belt Feinberg has been described by The Times UK as “a foundational and compositional force.” since arriving in New York in 2009 he has appeared with some of Jazz’s elite including Jon Batiste, Jeff Tain Watts, Dave Liebman, Aaron Parks, Knower, Dayme Arocena, Nir Felder, Melanie Charles and Lee Ritenour. Feinberg’s latest record Blues Variant (Criss Cross) was selected as one of the best albums of 2023 by Downbeat Magazine.
