Navigators

Navigators is a stage adaptation of a short story by Mike Meginnis. It tells the story of a particularly difficult spring-summer for 9-year-old Mykah and her father, Dustin. To keep themselves occupied as they sink deeper into financial (and psychological/emotional) insecurity, Mykah and her father are playing a video game called Legend of Silence. The game is unlike most other games they’ve played in that the heroine, Alicia, diminishes rather than grows in power as the game progresses.

Navigators stars Evie Hawkins, Jared Rogers-Martin, Shannon Crawford, and Emily Davis. It was adapted for the stage and directed by Asia Meana, and features choreography by Sarah Wildman, animation by Adam Mizell, and music by Scott Hawkins.
